Tom Fabietti Scholarship Foundation

 

The Tom Fabietti Scholarship Foundation was established in memory of and as a tribute to Tom Fabietti who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1994. 

 The scholarship is particular to St. Augustine Prep School since Tom was a graduate of the Prep.  Tom felt strongly about the education provided him at the Prep. He always said he wished more and more young men had the opportunity to attend.  With that in mind our mission is to provide scholarships to young men aspiring to continue their education at the high school level at St. Augustine Prep.

The work of the foundation began slowly and has grown to significant proportions.  Since 1994, we have awarded over $660,000 in scholarships to 58 applicants.

The Tom Fabietti Scholarship Foundation is funded exclusively by individual and corporate donations through our annual golf tournament. The success of the Foundation is the direct result of the generosity of many supporters and the hard work of many volunteers.

There is no administrative expense for the Tom Fabietti Scholarship Foundation.  Through many kind and generous people, all work is done on a volunteer basis and 100% of all contributions go directly to the scholarship fund.

The Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and all gifts and contributions are tax-deductible.
