Q: Who is Eligible?

A: Graduating 8th grade students applying to St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland, NJ.

Only applicants accepted for admission into St. Augustine Prep will be considered by our scholarship committee.

Q: The Application Process

A: Application may be downloaded from this website. 

Q: Attachments to Application

A: Should I attach copies of awards, certificates and letters of recommendation my son received?

No - only send the items requested on the application.

Q: Application Deadline

A: The applications must be received in our office by December 29th.

Q: Can I scan and e-mail my application?

A: Yes.  E-mail to scholarship@fhapa.com

Q: The Selection Process

A: The Scholarship Review Committee will evaluate the applicants based on their financial need, character, academic performance, school and community activities as well as volunteer activities. 

Financial need is a significant criteria in the evaluation process, therefore, we encourage all applicants to file a financial aid form with the Private Aid Service.

Q: How Will Awards be Paid?

A: Scholarship funds will be paid directly to St. Augustine Preparatory School.

Q: What are the Recipients Responsibilities?

A: Scholarship recipients are required to be in good academic standing with an average of 85 or better during their years at the Prep.

Q: May I Accept Other Awards?

A: Yes, the scholarship, combined with other scholarships, may not exceed the cost of tuition and fees for any given school year.

Q: When Will Scholarships be awarded?

A: January 30th.
